Missions

In March 2022 His Village Sierra Leone was established. Pastor Jacob and Sarah Vandy are the campus pastors for this location. In May 2023, through your generous donations, we purchased four lots, which allows the church to have a permanent location! Also through your generous donations, we have raised money towards providing clean water for the village and clearing the road! Praise God! The team worked very hard and finished the home for the caretaker of the property, dug a whole for the toilet area, and cleared huge rocks in the road to prepare for the trucks to be able to enter the property. Our long term goals are to build a wall around the compound, finish the toilet area, build a church, a clinic, and a school!

In November 2022 our missions team took their very first trip to visit the church. In the fall of 2023 a van was donated and shipped to the church along with some much needed sound equipment! In 2025, funds were raised to build a wall and install a well! In January 2024, 2025, and 2026 our missions team took their annual trip to Sierra Leone! Over the years they have hosted a revival, soccer camps, participated in evangelism outreaches, visited other ministries, and started the process to build a wall and well on the church compound!

Please be in prayer for Pastor Jacob and Sarah Vandy and the team as they continue to grow the church! If you would like to help fund the projects for the church property you can GIVE your gift with the designation to Sierra Leone Missions Trip. Outreach

We at His Village Church have a passion for our community. In November 2022 we started our annual service project called "One Love Culpeper"!  One Love Culpeper is an epic day of service and spreading the love of God in our community. Local churches, law enforcement, businesses, community leaders and citizens come together with a heart of love and service to make an impact in people’s lives. This community outreach program is designed to help local families in need with small outdoor projects like yardwork, though in the past due to the generosity of our community, we’ve been able to help homeowners with some larger needs as well.

Over the past four years we were able to cheerfully serve 30+ local families. We have also supported local parks and surrounding neighborhoods with litter clean up and supported a project at a school. Our 5th annual event day is scheduled for November 7, 2026! WE HAVE LOTS OF YARD WORK NEEDS THIS YEAR AND NEED YOUR HELP.

Please register to volunteer here.

Thank you to all our volunteers and those who donated to make this day possible! Each year various businesses give of their time and resources supporting this outreach. Local law enforcement show up as role models of hard work and community service. We are currently fundraising and some awesome restaurants are supporting us with Spirit Nights/Events.

We would also like to show appreciation for our volunteers for their heart of service. Culpeper IHOP will be providing breakfast again this year as we kick off the morning with our volunteers. Our wonderful Culpeper Colonnade Chick Fil A has been with us from the beginning and will be providing lunches and cow visits again this year. Starting this year we will also be having an after event dessert reception to express our gratitude and celebrate all our combined efforts.

If you would like to donate to help with the costs of the
supplies for the projects for 2026, you can GIVE your gift designated to One Love Culpeper! To get involved or for more information please email oneloveculpeper@gmail.com.
