Missions

In March 2022 His Village Sierra Leone was established. Pastor Jacob and Sarah Vandy are the campus pastors for this location. In May 2023, through your generous donations, we purchased four lots, which allows the church to have a permanent location! Also through your generous donations, we have raised money towards providing clean water for the village and clearing the road! Praise God! The team worked very hard and finished the home for the caretaker of the property, dug a whole for the toilet area, and cleared huge rocks in the road to prepare for the trucks to be able to enter the property. Our long term goals are to build a wall around the compound, finish the toilet area, build a church, a clinic, and a school!

In November 2022 our missions team took their very first trip to visit the church. In the fall of 2023 a van was donated and shipped to the church along with some much needed sound equipment! In January 2024 and 2025, our missions team took their annual trip to Sierra Leone! While there they hosted a revival, soccer camps, other evangelism outreaches, and visited other ministries.

Please be in prayer for Pastor Jacob and Sarah Vandy and the team as they continue to grow the church! If you would like to help fund the projects for the church property you can GIVE your gift with the designation to Sierra Leone Missions Trip. Outreach

We at His Village Church have a passion for our community. In November 2022 we started our annual community service project called "One Love Culpeper"! This community outreach program is designed to help local families with small outdoor projects like yardwork. One Love Culpeper is an epic day of service and spreading the love of God in our community. Local churches, businesses, community leaders and citizens come together with a heart of love and service to make an impact and difference in people’s lives.

In 2022 we were able to serve nine different families! On our second annual service day in 2023 we were able serve twelve different families! On our third annual service day in 2024 we were able to serve eight different families! Our next service day is scheduled for November 2025!

The Culpeper Food Closet, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, supplies gift bags and resources for the homeowners. Chick-Fil-A in Culpeper generously feeds the volunteers and home owners lunch. The Culpeper Police Department shows up as role models of hard work and community outreach.

Thank you to all our volunteers and those who donated to make this day possible!

If you would like to donate to help with the costs of the
supplies for the projects for 2025, you can
