Missions

In March 2022 His Village Sierra Leone was established. Pastor Jacob and Sarah Vandy are the campus pastors for this location. In November 2022 our missions team, Sean and Megan Cantrell along with Pastor Erick Kalenga took their very first missions trip to visit the church. In May 2023, through your generous donations, we purchased four lots! They now have a permanent location! A home for the caretaker of the property has been completed! The church is currently working towards building a wall around the compound, finishing the toilet area, digging a well, and building the structure for the church to meet in. In the fall of 2023 a van was donated and shipped to the church along with some much needed equipment! In January 2024, our missions team took their second annual trip to Sierra Leone! While there they hosted a revival, soccer camps, other evangelism outreaches, and visited other ministries.

Please be in prayer for Pastor Jacob and Sarah Vandy and the team as they continue to grow the church and build on the land! If you would like to help fund the projects for the new property you can GIVE your gift with the designation to Sierra Leone Well Project. Please contact Megan Cantrell for more information at hisvillage.sierraleone@gmail.com

Outreach

We at His Village Church have a passion for our community. In November 2022 we started our annual community service project called "One Love Culpeper"! This project serves local residents with outdoor housing repair jobs. This was an epic day of service and spreading love in our community. Local churches, businesses, community leaders and citizens came together to make an impact and difference in people’s lives. We were able to serve nine different families by building a ramp, servicing an existing ramp, roof patching, painting, cleaning, building a fence, placing handrails, door repair and lawn work. The Culpeper Food Closet at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church supplied gift bags and resources for the homeowners. Chick Fil A in Culpeper generously fed the volunteers and home owners both breakfast and lunch. The Culpeper Police Department showed up as role models of hard work and community outreach. All the people came together with a heart of love and service. The weather was beautiful and the smiles were even brighter.

Our second annual service day was on September 23rd, 2023! So many individuals were blessed with the projects we were able to complete. Thank you to all our volunteers and those who donated to make this day possible!

If you would like to donate to help with the costs of the supplies for the projects for 2024, you can GIVE your gift designated to One Love Culpeper! WE NEED YOUR HELP! To get involved or for more information please email oneloveculpeper@gmail.com.
