GOD
We believe in the trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  These three are one God. Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Timothy 1:17

GOD THE FATHER
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth and has all authority in heaven and on earth. Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 8:6; Psalm 24:1-2, 90:2; John 10:29-30

GOD THE SON—JESUS
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of a living God.  He came to the earth to live a perfect life and offer it as a sacrifice for the sins of all humanity.  His death, burial and resurrection were part of God’s plan for our eternal salvation.  Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:22-23; John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 4:14-15

GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit has always been there since the beginning of time.  We also believe that the Holy Spirit is a real person who came to reside within Jesus Christ's true followers after Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to heaven (Acts 2). John 14:16-18

THE BIBLE AS FOUNDATION
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the only basis for our beliefs.  2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21

ABOUT SALVATION
We believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY to God the Father in Heaven.  And it is not because what we can do, it is by what Christ did on the cross.  Jesus Christ is indeed God’s only plan of eternal salvation for the world.  Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Romans 6:23

  ABOUT ETERNAL LIFE
Death seals the eternal destiny of each person.  For all people, there will be a resurrection of the body into the spiritual world and a judgment.  Those who prepared themselves for heaven by trusting in Jesus Christ as the forgiver of their sins and the leader of their life will be taken into the very presence of God for all eternity.  Those who have chosen to reject His free gift of salvation will be eternally banished from God’s presence into Hell. Matthew 25:31-46; John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:7-9, 15:12-28, 35-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18; Hebrews 9:27; 1 John 2:25, 5:11-13; Revelation 20:15

ABOUT ETERNAL SECURITY
We believe that God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ -- the believer is secure in his or her relationship to God for all eternity (John 10:28-29).  If a person has been genuinely saved, that person cannot “lose” his or her salvation.  A person receives salvation as a gift and keeps it as a gift.  Remember, nothing can be done to earn it.  It is God’s power, not human power, which keeps an individual safe. Romans 8:35-39; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25, 10:10, 14; 1 Peter 1:3-5

ABOUT BAPTISM
We believe that Baptism is our public display of commitment to Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).  It is symbolic of death to a sin, burial of our past, and resurrection to a new life in Christ.  Matthew 3:13-17; Acts 8:35-39; Romans 6:3-5
ABOUT THE LORD’S SUPPER
The Lord’s Supper commemorates the death of our Lord Jesus Christ and the sacrifice Christ paid for our sins.  The bread and cup used are symbolic of Christ’s broken body and shed blood.  We also believe that the sharing of the bread and the cup is open to all who have received Jesus as their Savior. Acts 2:42, 46; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29

ABOUT THE CHURCH
We believe that the Church is the hope of the world.  We are the literal hands and feet of Jesus.  The local church consists of believers who unite in faith and fellowship to love God (the Great Commandment -Matthew 22:37-40) and to love others (the Great Commission-Matthew 28:19-20).  A church reaches its full potential when its members reach their full potential. Matthew 10, 16:15-19, 18:15-20; Acts 2:42-48; Acts 14:23, 27; Acts 20:28; 1 Corinthians 1:2; Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:19-22
